31yrs young but after just buying my 97, GTi 8v Mk 3 i feel 17 again. woopee.

i am on to find out a little more about my GTi and possibly meet up.
im already having my first problems, Idiling / Cutting out after choke has settled from cold, so im off to the forums to try and get some help and advice.
