Re- Map Advise
« on: 08 October 2009, 23:29 »
Hi every one , new just registered as a member after reading GolfGTI for some weeks now.  I had a Golf mk4 130 TDI which was the longest I have ever kept a car for . Had it re - maped 3 years ago and it turned into a different car ( car now belongs to my son ).   I have recently purchased a ED30 ( 2007 ) and yes I want to re - map this car .  As it is my pride and joy I just do not know were to go . I live in Warwickshire and have been looking at R-Tech / Stealth Racing and superchip agent in Kenilworth  and aslo Revo .  I have read reports of 280 / 290 / 300 BHP being reached ( what is the most likely / average ) .  Have also heard the words aggresive re - map and moderate re - map.  whats the difference  and who do I choice .  Looking for the end of this month to book her in .

Regards,

Offline Len
