Anyone made their own uprated headlight wiring loom??

Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone's made their own DIY uprated loom?? I found this article on matey-matey http://www.matey-matey.com/uprated_headlight_wiring.shtml, if there's any more floating around that have been tried and tested, please link me :)
