I have a mk 3 2.0 16v in my mk2. Has anybody else done this conversion?

MY bro had it done on his mk2 8v golf.  Went like sh!t off a shovel!! Beat my 16v without even breaking a sweat...

 Until a damn 214 wrote it off whilst it was parked (uninsured driver)..  Who else hates the old Rover 214's??? With a vengeance!

But as I said, he had it done, didn't do it himself.

My mate has done this. I have read numerous times that you get the best results if you keep the mk 16v cams.
