The back of your car doesn't look lowered mate just looks like your shocks and springs are fecked. My VR6 sits exactly the same.

And a VR splitter is deeper. See my sig.

Hi Shepgti    The back is lowered already and looks good. I have the lowering springs (front and rear) for a Mark 2 (40mm) but can't find any top mounts for the Mark 2. Have advertised on here with no luck. Would swop with a Mark 3 set but again no luck anywhere.  What's the difference between the GTi and VR6 splitter?? Don't suppose you have pics?? Also the private plate is a must I think!!     Cheers      Deano

That is not lowered, a set of the correct size tyres and a 60mm drop would improve it 100%.

Thanks Guys     When I bought the car with the standard GTi alloys on the back end was defo lower than the front. The shocks and springs are not knackered as the ride is immaculate??  As earlier stated  I want to lower it all round by 40mm and have springs for the Mark 2 waiting. I don't think I can go any lower as I regularly have to ferry about the missus and 2 kids in the back!!     Cheers     Deano

With the correct size tyres, a 60mm drop would not cause any problems
