Would you worry??
« on: 23 September 2009, 19:23 »
In my quest for an R32 (MK4), I`ve stumbled across a good one that ticks every box

Only problem is it`s current owner has only had it 6 months :undecided: Would that put you off?? The HPI check etc came back clear and the log book etc is all fine, and he has a good reason to sell it. Would you worry too much about it??

I wouldn't worry about it, could be due to the times we live in. I was talking to a guy at an Irish meet in May who had just got an R32, sold by the second week of September cause it was costing him too much on petrol and tax after he lost his job  :undecided:
Not low enough mk5
Not on the road enough mk3

Thanks Jim I didn`t think of it that way

I guess I`m being a bit over cautious as I`ve never spent this amount of money on a car before.

Cheers

I agree with that, i was going to sell my scoob a few years back cause running it was getting too much.

On a car like that, running costs can soon mount up so I would not worry.

I wouldn't worry if everything checks out ok.
Trust your instincts, if you think the seller is bent then he probably is

if he has a genuine reason for selling and the car seems ok then i wouldn't worry.
Wouldn't be fun if it was easy, but does it have to be this much fun?
