Squeaky wiperblades
« on: 07 November 2009, 23:24 »

Been raining a lot lately, noticed my wiper blades make quite loud noises!  The front have a "squelch" kinda sound.  The rears can judder.

Anyone else have this?  My car is 2 mths old so can't be a new blade thing.

One factor could be that its because I put "rain x" onto my front and rear screens so that the rain beads up nicely.  Could be the cause of the noises though?  In which case I guess I need to wash them well with Fairy Liquid to take off the "Rain X".

Could be the rain X - I've never had an aero wiper make a noise unless it was old and needed replacing.
