Any one, but you'll only get a really good response if the fixings are welded to the strut tops, otherwise you're just playing.

seriously? thats a bit involved, does it really make a big difference? i dont see why :/

Then don't bother.  It doesn't sound like you've thought why you're fitting a strut brace and what difference it would make welding down the foot-plates vs bolting them down with three M8 bolts, as seem to be provided with most strut braces.

Why would you be fitting a strut brace?

Why would you be fitting a strut brace?

Well i wana fit a strut brace because im fitting new suspension soon and want to do it at the same time,
i also want to fit them to help the handling, i just want to know wats the best set up to have on mk4s,
do i get front and rear, upper and lower? do i have front soft and rear hard? do i bother with having a rear one?

you need the audi a3 s3 upper and lower front braces think there about £75 for the pair
with all the fittings fitted them to my old mk4 turbo did make a good bit off
differnce to the handeling titend it rite up . try your local freindly audi stealers  :laugh:
