I was changing my car over from my fiesta 1.3 to my now 2.0 mk4.

I rang them about 2 days after I had put down the deposit to see how much they would change the car on my policy for (Had about 3 - 4 weeks left)

They quoted me about £150 for remaining period.

I thought - not tooooo bad - will have to do it.

4 days later, I go to get car - ring them. Sorry you have been declined. "Why did you quote me 4 days earlier then?"
"We have no record of your car."

You have NO IDEA how pis$ed I was. Ended up taking out a new cover there and then with Bell who I've had no problems with yet touch wood.

I've heard the same elsewhere. Lets hope it doesn't come to that.

But I'm hoping the fact I've paid them a lot more than most with my mods actually being declared.
