Hi All
Picked up a Mk5 GTi on Saturday 3 door Diamond Black DSG 18" Monza II (Scuffed & Crazy White Lines) Full VW SH and balance of extended warranty.
Everything else box standard.
Apart from the scuffed wheels and one or two supermarket dings really happy with the car.
Few questions for the other owners...
- Road nose - Wow never expect that, will be back on here for tyre advice when they come up for renewal
- Woeful audio (see other post) asking for upgrade advice. Possibly the W6050 over the RNS 510
- Amazingly good fuel consumption - 41+ mpg Leeds to Whitby
- Can't get my head round how you unlock the car
Opens drivers door fine, but wife is locked out. Seem to need a double click to unlock everything.
- The boot/hatch VW sign is corroded - can this be replaced?
Other than that quite happy
