Hi guys,
Just thought i'd introduce myself, my name is dave and i've got a mk2 golf gti 16v (KR) and a mk3 golf gti 16v (ABF) i was hoping someone on here will be able to help me.
I'm having a problem with my mk3 golf gti 16v. the problem is when the car is in 1st gear and i accelerate, the gearstick starts shaking around from side to side, this doesn't happen in any other gear. Any ideas?
Also i'm told the mk3 16v have a cable gear change instead of linkage rods and a hydraulic clutch is this correct?
