Hi,

I am new to the forum as I've recently bought myself a Golf Mk3 16v GTI. Yesterday I think I accidently immobilised the car. Is there anything I can do to get it up and running again? I disconnected the battery but that made no difference. I've already spent a fair amount of money sorting out a new starter motor and gearbox plunger. Any help anyone could give me would be great!

As per your other thread, I would start with the basic's, have you got a spark and is the fuel pump running.
