Little help lowering

Not sure if there is another post about this so sorry if there is.

Haveing a little trouble lowering the front set springs the shock keeps spinning when trying to undo the nuts on the top of the shocks under the bonnet tried to hold the shock and just cant get it to stop spinning woundering if anyone had any ideas or best way to do this? Its 1996 Mk3 GTI 8v...

Also 60mm drop to much :)

You need a allen key slotted in the top to hold it then undo the nut.

60mm is nothing a lot on here are running a lot lower.

I used a spanner and allen kit to do the top of the strut.

Two words... Impact Drive - saves a whole lot of f@nnying around :) 60mm..just right
