Probably be alright to just use the flusher, unless you think the oil hasn't been done for a very long time...

just drop the oil while it's still warm.. most of the cack will fall out that way

Just make sure your hand is out of the way when you do it, oil holds heat for a long time and hurts like f*ck when its all over your hand  :angry:
infact I would compare it when I was angle grinding an exhaust bolt off and it fell onto my arm, worse than being kicked in the boll*cks  :sick:
