still losing power

my 2ltr 8v still losing power ive cleaned throttle body out etc but when i put foot down she struggles then picks up any ideas please

Exactly the asme thing happened to my GF's Polo GTI.

The car would be very sluggish at lower revs, even a bit juddery but would pull like a good un when it up the revs.

Changed the leads & plugs but still the same  :sad:

Turned out that it was the coil pack that was breaking down  :angry: put a new one on and it's a little flyer again now  :wink:

very comman problem this 1... same as what i had i cleaned the MAF and that sorted it then i had loss of power pulling away in 1st which turned out to be because of a split vac pipe on the side of the throttle housing......

runs sweet now

jus spoke to neighbour he reckons vernier pully (cams) not set rite gona try that c what happens i've check pipes etc seem ok ill keep you posted since seems be a common problem :smiley:
