Right, After getting a soaking at the fireworks last night I went home got changed and started on my trip to the pub to meet my mates....
Got a little way down the road, was a little wet but no major puddles... Stopped at the junction to pull out when the car juddered big time then shock its self to a stop in the road, on a blind bend.
I managed to get it half off the road but couldn't start up again, she was turning over but wouldn't fire up.
In the end I had to call out the recovery people, the dizzy cap had a very slight layer of wet! but wasn't enough to effect it, nether the less dried it out but still no joy. Had it towed home but still can't get it going.
The guy thought it may either be the fuel pump or maybe the water pump busted?
I have no idea what to do next and don't want to really put it in the garage as I don't want to spend the money on it so may just get rid of it....
Any ideas please guys?
Worst thing is I didn't get to the pub....
