Rear Caliper overhaul kit

Not sure if this has been asked before but i'm looking for an overhaul kit for MK2 rear calipers.  Seals etc...

bin the mk 2 calipers and buy some mk 3 calipers and the rear piston seals are about £15 from vw i have mk3 calipers but havnt fitted them yet and as a result of being lazy/easily distracted so end up freeing the handbrake off every week or so

More hassle than its worth - as above, get new callipers off a MK3

From a scrappy, going rate is £15 a side anyway.

Would it be a straight swap? or would I need to change carriers, hoses, cables etc...

Straight swap. You might have to mount the upside down, wrong way round depending on year though. Not a big deal until you come to bleed - and its still straightforward anyway.

MK4 units are no better - but more likely to be found in a scrappy and generally in better nick than some tired old MK3 units, but will bolt right on the carriers - but require conversion hoses.
