mk3 golf gti idle problems

Can anyone help me. Am having idle problems with my 2.0 8v golf gti 1997 it starts ok and idles fine but if i set off then come to a stop the car just cuts out, but i have noticed if i drop the revs down slowly before coming to a stop its fine but if the revs drop quickly then the car cuts out.
I have just serviced the car myself spark plugs, rotor arm dizzy cap, new coil pack etc. Just to see if this helps but no joy. So if anyone can direct me in the right place i would be most grateful

hi i have got the same problem as u have i come to a stop and the engine will cut out which is pissing me off be it hasppens all the time.

I am having the same problem?? When it started to cut out, it was totally random  , But now it's every time i brake or slow down to change gears
Ive changed my Dizzy cap,,  The Rotar Arm,, and the H.T Leads,   And still got the same fuc*in problems,   Any help would be most appreciated coz  i love this baby.  :embarassed:

Clean out the throttle body as a start.
