I'd say that if the carbs are properly setup and there's a gti cam, you should be looking at similar power to a gti - 112 IIRC... and it'll sound awesome! Downside is, you'll be using twice as much fuel as a digifant.

That's a complete guess based on nothing, so you probably shouldn't listen to me.

Would it make a difference if it were the GU block and not the PB block?

Just a thought (before Captain grump comes along and questions my question  )

GU block = PB block

PB cyl head has bigger valves and better cam tho
