I bourght a tuning box off ebay, was 2nd hand and cost around £350 new. It was adjustable. I had it turned half way up and it made a vast improvment. Turbo booted up alot better and was seeing around 60mpg on combined runs which was very good.  :laugh:
This was on my skoda octavia 110nhp as it happens.

Apparently can cause havoc with variable vein turbos, due to soot build up and the veins not moving correctly

Give Nick at R-Tech a call. He did my mates a while back. Very much improved. It's actually surprising that it's a diesel now. Was on a MK4 TDi.

I also heard that the 110 tdi's suffered with soot issue with the varaiable vane side of things.  :huh:
