ive got a golf gti 16v mk3 love it
i want to drop
it 60mm ive got 17s on it at the min was just wondering
if i would do any work to the arches
?
all advice welcome cheers

Depends on the width/offset of your wheels and the size of the tyres, but if you're only going 60mm I can't see you having any problems to be honest.
My old Mk3 was lowered about 110mm front and about 95mm rear. Wheels were 7x17" with an offset of ET40 front and ET30 rear. I only had to roll the arches myself with a hacksaw and a big hammer

Should be ok, mine was around a 70mm drop with 17"s offset needs to be around 35.
