found the problem.

it was the centre bores of the rocco wheels, they taper down over about 5mm and then 5mm flat at 57.1. i needed the full 10mm to sit on the hub to settle it. set of spigot rings would sort it, but i decided to go get some ats cups instead, so now no need for spacers! although am toying with the idea of fitting them on the rears, would have ET20 fronts and ET 0 rears then :) lol

Can I please please buy those spacers off you?

yeah im in pompey mate, am gonna see how they look on the cups tomo, but should have one set for sale at least if thats any good? they literally did 5miles on the car and cost me £47.50 plus postage a pair, so feel free to pm me an offer based on that!
