will this fit onto a mk2 16v engine ? mods needed ?

It's cable-change.  You'll need the changer, the front mount, the clutch and flywheel and a suitable o/s driveshaft.

Oh and you'll need a cable-change clutch cable from a Seat and the actuator.

So yes.  You'll need to make quite a number of mods.
