Hullo

Hullo there, Names Graeme and im from Glasgow, drive a Dragon Green mk3 gti 16v vento front end .

Picked her up Sat 11th July, needs some TLC but she’s on her way to a speedy recovery

As above picked her up on the sat, drove home and discovered a few problems, it dont like going into 5th gear unless your driving fast with high revs. 1 connector block missing on the CD wiring loom, has heated seats but not working, discovered they aint even wired up

Guy that had it before me has painted the wheels red and desided it would be better to drive about showing rust  by taking off the plastic arch covers....... bit of a stupid thing to do.

So on sunday, i gave the car a very good clean, had cream/beige leather interior etc, looks great against the green car... so first up was a good hoover and leather treated with leather cleaner. Outside was washed using 2 bucket mephod, dried and then a quick coat of AG SPR ( Auto Gylm Super resin polish)

I glued 3 of the plastic arches back on, 2 fronts and passenger side rear, but on the way home the rear one snapped off

Plans over the next couple weeks are:

GTI wheels
CD Player sorted
2 new rear arches for it
Coilovers set up correctly and tracking alignment sorted for fast road usage and occasionally track days
Alternator pully and power steering belt changed
Cat 1 Alarm
MOT
TAX

Sure ive forgot something, anyways heres a couple pics.

How it stood the day I got it.

Badge painted black

Finished look

Sorry for the long into
