Rain coming in near sun-visor.

Whenever it rains I get in my MK4 150bhp 52 plate to be greeted by a wet drivers seat and carpet.

The water drips from the light above the sun-visor on the drivers side and fills the visor full of water! I've since disconnected the visor and removed it as it used to drip all over me making me look like I had pissed myself.

The water seems to be collected between both skins of my roof as when I set off anyone in the back gets a soaking through the grab handle above the rear door and when I brake the water comes forward and drips through the light where the visor was.

Anyone have any ideas where this can be coming in as my car is starting to smell a bit rank.

I thought about changing the door seals on the right side of the car but if it were coming through there it would not be held in the roof, it would be running down to the floor i guess.

Only other thing I can think of is the sunroof but when I open the sunroof I can't seem to feel any wet in the gap between the roof skins.

If it is the sunroof can the seals be replaced easily or cheaply or is it new sunroof time (i.e. seals not replaceable)

I would have thought it would be coming in through the sun roof.
Take off the headlining and see if you can see any water marks or worn seals

check the sunroof drainage holes. Run a stiff (ish) wire/cable down them and feel for blockages. You can also try using an air compressor (petrol station tyre pump) and blasting the drain holes through.

i would get it checked asap as if its retaining water thats a quick easy way for mr rust to start showing up
