find your local tuning company like REVO - they have access to stock files and would at least be able to interrogate your ECU to find out if its the cause - would have thought they charge less than the dealer too  :wink:

also buy a 2nd hand ECU from a scrappy and get that programmed - if it works then you won't have shelled out £950 for one!!

Yeh that was my initial plan, spoke to a recommended tuner (who seems to know his stuff inside out) and ge assures me the fitting of a different ECU is Stealer only, due to re-programing.

Might be worth getting them to fit an ECU that I provide them with?? Should shave a quid a two off!  :undecided:
