indicator stalk

hi, my indicator stalks is playing up, sometimes it doesnt cancel other times it flicks the other way, just want to know whether it is easier to change the whole unit or is it easy enough just to change the indicator side, thanks

No need to change both stalks if it's just the indicator switch.. either way its a steering wheel off job. About 45 quid from VW from memory.
