have you been fitting new or 2nd hand ones? I was going to suggest water getting into it, and that it needs sprayin with sealant. But its summer and not raining!!

Its a long long shot, but are u using water, that is maybe making them wet.
Such a long shot, but it seems odd that its eating coil packs. Failing that, i suppose u need to work back from the coilpack. Maybe its getting fried.

ok.
thanks for your replys.
long story short.
when the rac man got to me it was sparking.
but it wouldn't really run!
sounds like the worlds biggest air leak from the back of the engine!
bugger.
anybody any ideas on what is round the back to cause a massive air leak?
its over fueling too from the look of the 2 month old plugs?
im now thinking that this is the problem with the idle that has just given in somewhere? what Gasket are round the back?
cheers

Exhaust manifold gaskset. Or could be a hole in the ehxaust. Does it have a rythm to the blowing, or just a constant hiss.
