Uprated Cam? 1.8 8v

I dont want to spend too much money on my 8v, but i have to live with it as i cant afford insurance yet for anything better. BUT i heard that a uprated cam could be just a simple and effective mod for the car. All i have to do is find the part and my mate can fit it for me. so where can i find this part??? i havnt got a clue where to start so any help would be appreciated.

I think you can wang in a MKII GTI 8v cam which should see you up the power a little!

Not much to honest, a better choice would be a 286 from piper or kent.
