gt tdi...
« on: 29 June 2009, 13:39 »
hello all! I've currently got a mk2 gti which ibought earlier this year, it's great un and I love driving it etc the only problem is being at uni 200 miles away from home for most ofthe year means it's not the best car for driving home in due to fuel consumption etc so was thinking about a gt tdi or maybe a remapped tdi... realistically how much would I be paying for a good one?

thanks

have a look on Auto Trader and Piston Heads for an idea of prices

i'd expect to pay around 3.5K these days for a decent 130 TDI and possibly a little over 4K for the 150

this depends on condition, mileage etc etc

don't forget the economy and car markets have collapsed in the last 12 months plus with the MK5 and now the MK6, MK4 prices have been hit hard

i paid £8200 for mine in Feb 06 with 56K on the clock
