standard exhaust rubbers ?

anyone got a diagram or pic of how the standard rubber hangers are fittted ?
mine had some crap non vw type fitted , i bought some new ones, i have two of the o ring type an two of the diamond shape ones is this right ?
... and which goes where help !!

 its for my 1986 8v GTI

yep thats right. one of the diamond ones goes on the middle box the other goes on the very rear of the back box (near exit pipes).
the 2 round ones go at the back of the back box (near where it joins to mid section).

if ur running an aftermarket exhaust u may find the new rubbers break really quickly.
If so get some powerflex ones they are excellent  :wink:

S/s systems are heavier than their mild steel equivelent.

Ashley do mild steel systems which are light but obviously don't last as long.

You don't own a Mk2, you support it.
