my mk2 was (now 20v)a 1.3 c reg with wipers on the wrong side, this dosnt have a cig lighter in it and instead has a blanking plate, will the wires for lighter still be there?  need to use a sat nav tomorrow and not sure what options i have.
could i just run 2 wires from a battery and get a lighter bit from a scrappy?
urgent help needed please.

If you run a feed from the battery put a fuse in it and drop the earth to the shell instead of running right back to the battery (sorry if I'm teaching you to suck eggs).

it might have the plug for it somewhere, its a 3 pin one with red, brown and blue/white wire.  If you look behind the fusebox the red wire comes from B/11
