i could do with getting a new front and rear bumper

but how do i go about getting them the exact same colour as the car?

You check the paint code from your car to the donor.

Bumpers are a very easy job to do. Did mine in 30 mins.

Thats if your bolts that hold em on arent corroded and seized up like mine wer  :undecided:

took 30mins? how many coats did you do?

cause i am thinking of doing it myself, just dont want to mess it up:)

Ohh sorry when you say "getting a new front and rear bumper" I thought you meant you wanted replacement bumpers. Sorry

What colour is it? Solid or metallic...ect?

Could work out cheaper and easier to pick up a pair in the same colour s/h, to have them painted could be expensive.

Personally, this is from experience, im on my 4th bumper in 3 years.

Pay someone to spray it! Halfords cans, are rubbish.

Get it done once properly, or not at all.

quality fresh paint will be £80-150+ per bumper depending on colour and if the bumpers are decent quality (some "aftermarket" bumpers need major work before paintable!!)

can i buy them brand new from vw?
