Michelin PS2's
« on: 27 May 2009, 14:55 »
I am looking to get some Michelin PS2's since my front 2 tyres are worn. I was looking on mytyres.co.uk and I can't understand the difference between the 225/45 ZR17 91Y with rim protection ridge, N3 and the 225/45 ZR17 91Y with rim protection ridge, RR. What is the difference between RR and N3? Which ones would I need?

N3 is for Porsche where the three is for mk3

I'm not sure about RR, maybe a typo for RF?  Which would be ReinForced.

I'm pretty confused really, theres quite a few different ones on there. Could someone give me a link to the ones that I need? Currently I'm running  Continental ContiSport Contact 3 225/45ZR 17 91Y.

So N3 is for porsche, M0 is for mercedes. So that leaves RR, I don't think they are run flat. Are RR the ones to go for?

what did you think of the conti sport 3's???  i need two new uns as i knew they were sh1te when i bought the car so replaced em with my old dunlops just as a stop gap, but with 200bhp through dunlops in the wet you need bog paper at the side of you for the touching cloth moments when just cruising even

So i guess the q is why you going for the PS2's???

Going for the Michelins are from what I have read, they seem to be one of the best tyres. ContiSport 3s where okay, but the tread wore away very fast- could just be because of my heavy foot!
