Oil catch can anyone?
« on: 24 May 2009, 09:55 »
I know Ben from R-Tech was looking into this a while back, might be some useful info here for him.

Looks like a good installation, looks very OEM too

I'd like to do something with mine, the oil that accumulates in everyones intercoolers can't be good

i asked about this before as my mate owned a Seat Ibiza Cupra which breathed heavy and with the being the same type of engine used in VW's then id expect them to be the same. Saw a post on the seat owners club site and someone showed what had been collected over a month and i was suprised.

Maybe worth looking into

reduced oil in your intake pipes...

which leads to better, smoother running and more power (or rather less reduction in power)
