Confirmation - How many oak green mk2 16v 3 doors were made?

Anyone know as Im sure this figure is very much pulled out of the sky, I know at lease 15 people with a 3 door! and about the same with a 5 door!

Nice colour but I dont think the figure is at all right

I think that figure is way off the mark, infact i would go as far to say that oak green isnt actually a rare colour but is more of a desirable colour

There are rarer colours out there which get overlooked

Thats exactly what I was thinking (Not meaning to offend anyone)

Ive seen so many oak greens, and Id agree with you there are definately more rarer colours out there, but like you said its desirable and looks nice on a mk2

The Oak Green isn't rare IMO, just a nice colour for the Mk2. And, agreed, there are rarer colours out there. One point I DO make to my fellow Mk2 owning friends, is, Oak Green is only available on GTi models, unlike most others!!!!!

Oak green isn't rare - just a bit more desirable. I'm so bored of people trying to palm off old stuff as 'rare'. I remember some guy trying to sell me electric windows a few years back, wanted £200 for the set - because they were rare. I settled with £30 off the bay thanks.

is it really an original 16v?
no 16v sticker on front or back, unoriginal bbs wheels,16v sticker on wrong side of passenger dash as well as; modified steering wheel, gear stick and dials.
Although has the original CAPITAL LETTER ADVERTISEMENT.
8v conversion? Generally molested?

Whilst a nice colour, over time this will become less "rare" as more desirable colours are likely to be restored!
