16v pipe setup?

Alrite just wondering about the mk2 16v master cylindar , i see there is three holes is that one each for either front , and the last one does the rears so it would split into two pipes at a junction?


Also is there any specific space for the pipes to go , both front to be closest to the servo or does it not matter ,

generally mk2s only use 2 holes, the other(s) are blanked off.  You use a front and a rear hole, each hole gets an opposite corner from the car plumbed into it (i.e front n/s rear o/s) this means that if you loose a circuit you still have braking on 2 corners of the car.

i have got eh 16v master cylinder it has three holes , so what do i do ? run one pipe alone to each front brake and then make a junction so that the last hole will do both rear's?

block off the 3rd hole
run 2 opposite corners to the front connection, and the other 2 oppisite corners to the rear

Are you sure to just blank it off ? couldnt i just use one hole per front brake and then use the last one to do both the rears by using a junction for it to split into ,

well you could if you wanted to, the end result would be the same though
blanking off the 3rd one saves you a bit of pipe plus makes it easier to route it all neatly, and its how VW did it
but then in the MK1 they used a seperate line to each port, so either way is good.
