Unceasing coilovers
« on: 16 May 2009, 11:08 »
Going to have a stab at lowering the front of my car again today, but last time the were ceased so had to stop. Any times for getting them undone at all?

Cheers :)

first i wire brush the threads
then WD40 and give them a good clean
I use a hammer and punch to get the adjuster rings to move

Then an oil filter removal tool (the rope type) similar to this HERE but a better quality one. The coilover spanners are crap imo.

Once adjusted. I copper grease the threads. Dirt sticks to the copper grease but the threads stay clean.
