I'm sure birds see black and reflexively sh!te. They probably think it's a body of water or something. Wonder how much blue and green cars get shat on.

the problem i have with cleaning the poo with the cloth is that the poo sticks to the cloth and it's a real pain cleaning the cloth. So the real question is how do you clean the poo off your microfibre cloth? I have this manky cloth that is just for bird poo and as you can imagine it is getting a bit rank!

£1.50 each?? Bloody hell!!

Go to Wilkinsons - Yellow Microfibre cloth, 10p each!!

I just by the tesco ones, £1.50 each, keep one in the boot til its manky then ditch it!

Whats the CD test?

I'll try pop into Wilko's this week and take a pic of what they are - pretty sure they were MF cloths, but I saw it in passing............and they were yellow...........hmm.............

I assume that you rub a CD with the cloth and if it scratches it then it's not going to be very good on your paint. MF cloths, I assume, don't scratch CDs.

Unless birds are toilet trained i dont think they wait to be over water to lay one down. I have a Black GTI and have to say the paint is very weak against bird sh!te, i check mine every night as i pass it on the drive, I had a dird hit it the other day with what can only be described as Weapons grade turd and it took 30 mins of soaking to get the bugger off, nasty stuff if you leave it,

Birds aren't toilet trained but they do have innate reflexes. IIRC, birds tend to excrete over bodies of water. Flying high up in the sky, a dark coloured vehicle won't look much different to a pond, say. It's supposed to be a reflex type of response. See a black thing and $hit yerself!
