I'm new here today!!
Although not my first Golf mk2 (g reg 1.8 gti) This is the first time I have had a problem that I dont' know about!
I recently bought her not for looks but for how sweet the engine and drive is, I noticed pwr steering fluid around the reservoir so thought there must have been a leak. I have run around now for a week and the pwr steering pump has just started to make a noise and sth steering a bit notchy when turn lock right when driving slow.
My q's are
I have been told to drain all the fluid including the rack! whats the best way to do this??
I am about to order a new pump as G&S rekon the seals will have gone and that the RED fluid isn't the correct grade!! Hence needing to drain the rack.
