Big Bumpers
« on: 10 August 2004, 22:37 »
Hi Guys.. (again.. he he)

Well sprayed up my shiny new big bumpers from GFS today and they are fitted.. look good im pleased with them.... but seems now it needs some different wheel arche pastics as they dont finish off properly (Mines a Golf Mk2 8v GTI 1986) and join the front lower spoiler. Can anyone make n e suggestions or recommend a product..

Oh and side skirts? does any of the other model come with them.

cheers

Dave

I believe you will now need a full 90-spec arch kit and rubbin strips

yes the big bumpers are about 130 & Vat from GSF and some people settle for that, but to get it looking right you need the thinner side rubbing strips and the correct wheel arches but for some reason, that set costs about 230 & vat which seems a bit of a rip off to me!  >:(

What about the GL? That dont have arches does it? I saw one th other day, that had litle bits that went with the normal rubbing strips etc... on the wheel arches
