mk1 16v
« on: 27 April 2009, 12:08 »
hi guys

having blown the head gasket on my 16v cabby at christmas

i sent car away to have engine rebuilt to 1900cc with newman 272cams and a pnp head, at the same time having gearbox rebuilt

i got the car back in late february and everything was fine but within a week it developed a hot start problem

so i thought f00k it as i'm working in ireland i'll send car up to mv developements to have servo and master cylinder upgrade and sort out the hot start problem

well brake upgrade was done ok and gear linkage was rebuilt

car was then put on rolling road for setting up but they found it was running very lean above 4000 revs so they are investigating

but i've been home for 10days now and still no car i'm just so f00king frustrated  cars been away for nearly amonth and i thought it would be sorted by now

and i havent even got my bike as thats up with me brother in law in march

so far my time off has been sh!te i should have stayed at work
