Timing belt cover?

I need a new timing belt cover, as mine has come loose and lost one of its fastener bits, and ive seen one on ebay for a mk3 gti 8v, mine is the 16v version.

Does anyone know if it will fit?

Ive had a look but its the 16v from a mk2 your selling right?

Ive got the mk3 16v, im right in saying it won't fit?

I've managed to bodge a kr one on for now whilst I found a mk3 16v one but its not ideal
