Seals and Wires!

   Hi,
I am restoring a 1980 1600 gti.  Would any one know where I could look for a new wiring loom and fuse box (have heard a late spec. cab may fit) from, please.  Also my rubber has split, the window kind... these are proving very hard to find, every where i've looked they do all seals for air cooled, but not my lovey mk1... :'( :'( :'(

Any help would be very much appricahated, but none with my spelling, as it is just dandy

hiya and welcome

i think rustynuts is breaking a 1.6gti - i reckon he might still have a loom and box if u pm him.  the looms are definately no longer on the VAG parts list cos i tried getting one myself but u can get the fusebox from them.    

i reckon a 1980 will have the older fusebox though, dont hold me to it but i think they changed them around 1982/83.
