R-Map With R-Tech?
« on: 14 April 2009, 13:28 »
Hey folks just wondering what a re-map with the r-tech guys is like? Good results? Are they reliable? I have sent them 2 p.m's but they have failed to get back to me.

Just have a few questions if some one could help me.

1.   I have just had a cam belt service, would it be wise to let this settle or would it be fine?
2.   What price do they charge for a 51 AUM re-map?
3.   What gains would you see on their basic package?
4.   I see they are selling DV’s as well but they look the same as the cheap ones of ebay what are they like?
5.   Is a rolling road run included in the price?
6.   I hear if the MAF is off boost isn’t correct then a re-map is pointless, is this correct? If so is their a charge if problems are found?

Thanks for your time

the after sales and during sales is the best i have ever come across

i got 217.8 bhp from a stage 1 map on a aum (i have panel filter decat etc etc )

u wont regret it

Been stacked over over the last 2 weeks, non stop working 12 hours a day plus in and out of the A&E with my brother and my old man.  But I am always a phone call away.

1.   I have just had a cam belt service, would it be wise to let this settle or would it be fine? Should be fine to remap straight after the belt
2.   What price do they charge for a 51 AUM re-map? £250 all inc  pre and post diagnostics and TB clean)  Mobile remap £poa
3.   What gains would you see on their basic package?  If your engine is running spot on you should see 210bhp/240lbft
4.   I see they are selling DV’s as well but they look the same as the cheap ones of ebay what are they like?  Our DV use quality branded 1bar springs and quality pistons with twin seals.
5.   Is a rolling road run included in the price?  Rolling road + £65 3 pre power runs, 3 post power runs, and data logging run.6.   I hear if the MAF is off boost isn’t correct then a re-map is pointless, is this correct? If so is their a charge.  You car needs to be running spot on to get the most from the remap, we include a engine diagnostics and check over pre remap, If there is a fault we will charge to fix it, or write the fault code down so you can get it fixed at a later date.
