I put a post in "The Garage" but wanted to get more feedback from MK1 owners on some techy questions I have.
I have a MK1 GTI (originally 1.6) with a TSR 1.9 engine, and the oil light keeps flashing. Sometimes stops falshing at low revs. Has been like this for a while according to the previous owner... and yes, I have checked the oil!
No idea how to fix it, any ideas?
Also have a problem with the MFA where the MPG reades 99.9 (I wish it was!!!
) but doesnt read correct. This could be due to the engine change but would like to fix it. Any suggestions?
Also, what was the size of the petrol tank on the 1.6 GTI... need to know when I should be filling up
