Bit of help needed. Power steering has started to whine.
It whined yesterday afternoon, not this morning then again this afternoon - which seems strange! Also whinning a fair bit under acceleration or when engine-breaking.
Fluid is clean and clear and over minimum and can't see any sign of leaking (can't see everything obviously) but where is the maximum mark as I intend to top up and see if it improves?
Anyone else had similar and been able to reduce the whinning by toppingup and bleeding air?
Also, 'Service Now' is showing on the display - Ive seen a couple of posts about resetting but nothing seems to work (it's not due). Has anyone got a definitive answer to reset it on a 2001 V6 4motion?
