Hi! finally got myself a mk2 so this was my next stop! my wife is still not amused but hey! bothered!
had a '79 gti but alas became a donor due the salty Channel Island air!
So my new project is a '87 8v bought for next to nothing and at first glance needing clutch, gearbox seals, shift rubbers, a cv boot and a couple of tyres, it's only done 87k so should be a goodun. I'll try and get some pics up a i go...
