hey guys, is there a certain oder in which the HT leads go onto the dizzy cap? if so would someone tell me which 1 goes to where. its for a mk3 2.0 8v 2e engine

1 3 4 2 clockwise, position #1 lead where rotor arm is pointing when engine at TDC. or trial and error, fit em, if it runs like arse move em all round 1, repeat till it runs right

what's TDC? ive got the ht leads set up. and it seems like theres someting wrong with number 3 as when ts plugged in the engine bangs but when i take number 3 out it stop's

top dead centre, i.e. engine all lined up to the timing marks for when you change the belt
