so, has anyone done this to their mk2's?
and is it worth it? iv enough room under my arches, and its the last suspension mod i can think of. il be using passat stuff to keep my mk2 h+r roll bar

YES! DO IT!
how are you doing the rear? you can use the stub axles from drum brake golfs with the stub milled off for a cheap 10mm spacer. i didnt know when i did mine and splashed out on getting some made.

can you expand a little into the improvements you saw? il be doing the machined stub with high tensile cosworth bolts

id say better stability on quicker corners and better turn in speed. it probably helps in other areas as well.
